the technology acquisition of Avorcor, a privately held company in Sterling, VA
that offers a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based technology that optimizes
the supply chain process for retailers through web-based services. The acquisition
represents a strategic move for Alpha Bay to continue to offer the "best-in-class"
technology solutions for the retail systems market place within their Adaptive Integrated

application integration and solution design.
Avorcor solution helps VIP Auto win prestigious 2008 R. L. Polk Inventory Efficiency
award.
The R. L. Polk Inventory Efficiency award recognizes and rewards outstanding automotive aftermarket companies for process improvements relative to inventory efficiency. Avorcor worked with VIP Auto's IT team to analyze, design and implement a new store special ordering process that streamlined delivery of special order fulfillment directly from the warehouse to the stores. This allowed VIP to maximize its on-hand inventory prior to using outside vendors for fulfillment, which led to exponential growth of their special order and hard parts business and led to a significant drop in return rates.
